The Fraternal Order of Police, West Central Missouri Regional Lodge #50 is happy to announce that we are engaging in our fall fundraising campaign for our Shop With A Cop programs throughout the metro. The FOP has a long history of helping those in need including our Christmas program for less fortunate children.
Lee’s Summit and its police officers recently agreed to their first union contract.
The formal labor agreement between officers and the city had been a goal since 1999, said Sgt. Rick Inglima, a Lee’s Summit officer and president of West Central Missouri Regional Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 50.
The Brady Impact
The National FOP recently produced a training seminar concerning “Brady” and how it impacts police officers (see training video below). If you are a law enforcement officer it would be in your interest to familiarize yourself with this subject. Truthfulness and the 1963 Brady decision have become hot topics in law enforcement circles.
